EMG-Analysis
The orthoS8 system analyzes and objectively assesses muscular imbalances, activation deficits, and functional disorders. This professionalizes therapy planning and makes treatment progress measurable. Evidence-based data forms are the basis for individualized biofeedback therapy programs in the orthoS8 software, and also provide
an important foundation for decisions regarding your existing therapy-concept.
The transparent and easy to understand presentation of test results promotes patient compliance and adherence to therapy.
Movement Analysis
The orthoS8 system measures range of motion (ROM) using two sensors – one control- and one motion sensor. This eliminates compensatory movements and ensures valid and reliable measurement of actual range of motion. Test sequences for almost all movements are predefined in the orthoS8 software. Simultaneously, muscle activity can be recorded to analyze the dynamic interplay of agonists and antagonists.

The orthoS8 system enables precise and simultaneous recording of up to 8 muscles.
This allows you to enhance your functional diagnosis of myofascial disorders, such as temporo-mandibular dysfunction (TMD), activation deficits in muscle chains, or issues related to return-to-competition, by providing objective data.

Telemetry
The orthoS8 sensors are a true technological marvel: They incorporate not only the latest telemetric and highly precise EMG technology, but also an IMU sensor for motion measurement (optional range-of-motion module).
Thanks to the outstanding signal stability with a range of over 25 meters and the low sensor weight of only 14 grams, your patients can move completely free. Your assistants will also be impressed by the ease of use and intuitive software operation!
